Activists: Wind Turbines Make People Fall Ill

by Jason Ramsey Top News USA

The Liberal Government has overruled an opposition movement that has demanded to place an instant suspension on wind turbines, until their health effects are further examined.

Almost 250 people came down to Queen’s Park on Wednesday, in order to protest the presence of the turbines in the vicinity of inhabited areas.

They assert that the turbines cause low-frequency noise and have made 106 Ontario residents fall ill, causing a range of health problems such as from hypertension to sleeplessness and nosebleeds in kids.

Dr. Robert McMurtry said that it is really sad to see that people are falling sick every now and then and still authorities are least bothered to do anything in support of their health concerns.

The Progressive Conservatives came up with the movement on Wednesday afternoon demanding for an instant suspension on the turbines. The movement, however, was beaten by the majority Liberals.

Prime Minister, Dalton McGuinty stated that suspension is required. Ontario has some of the most rigorous norms in North America in terms of wind power and the county is financially supporting a university study chair to examine the long-term impact of the turbines.

  1. Asking for the chair to examine the long-term impacts, will allow Industrial Wind turbines to be erected within the next 5 years using flawed noise guidelines that do not take into consideration the effects of low frequency noise. So in effect, McGuinty is asking rural residents to become test subjects for the largest boondoggle this province has seen. And what if the effects are negative, no matter, people will have been forced from their homes by then and the problem will be resolved. It’s already happening, with nobody being held liable for the loss these residents must incur.

  2. “Dr. Robert McMurtry said that it is really sad to see that people are falling sick every now and then ….”

“Prime Minister, Dalton McGuinty stated that suspension is required…..”

“Ontario has some of the most rigorous norms in North America in terms of wind power and the county is financially supporting a university study chair….”

HUH? I’ve read this item 3 times. Is it me or….?

  3. Slow to get going but relentless just the same is the “awakening” of the Ontario Citizens that we have been sold out and flushed down the toilet our very own Provincial Politicians!

They are now completely useless and actually destructive to the Ontario peoples.

Ontario will overcome this tyrannical presence, not before a lot of permanent damage has been done but WE will take back our control over our lives, lands and future.

You can bank on that McGuinty!

And to any future leaders who will replace these useless politicians, don’t even think about cashing in McGuinty’s legacy such as McGuinty has done with Harris’s!!!!!!!!!

  4. Pogo was wrong..It should have read….”Yep son, We have met the enemy and the enemy he is the Ontario Liberal Government”…

Nobody signed us on for this $28 Billion BOONDOGGLE that the Ontario Liberal Government has embarked on….

This fiasco (Fake Green Energy Act) should have been on the ballot last election….

Now it will be on the ballot for the next election…but too late to undo all the damage done to our economy and the people of Ontario…

    It’s not you.

The reporter/writer appears to be just a poor/uneducated/American trying to appear knowledgeable about “Canadian political issues” for his readers and to us, we recognize that he is making a complete fool of himself.

  6. The industrial wind is using the same process in every country, state or province it enters. Make a few happy make the rest pay. “The great masses of the people will more easily fall victims to a big lie than a small one” Adolf Hitler: ” Taken from Blowing Your Our Tax Dollars On Wind Farms. This quote is so appropriate to the situation. The Liberal Government has no clue what they are up against for them to believe they can pull this off in Ontario. They live in a sheltered environment.
