Anybody see a pattern here?

McGuinty noted the tax of up to $900 per person already exempts the “poorest families” earning under $22,000 annually.   “I know it can be a sacrifice for everybody else,” said the Liberal leader. October, 2007 – New Health Tax

Rural Ontarians must sacrifice their property values and quality of life for the “greater good”.  February, 2009 – McGuinty vows to stop wind-farm NIMBYs

Dalton McGuinty conceded that he will sacrifice small, rural pharmacies.  April, 2009 – Pharmacy Cuts

And believe it or not…….The premier said each generation has challenges and sacrifices that have to be made for the common good. And just as parents, grandparents and great grandparents battled through war and depression to ensure a better future, the time has come for this generation to do its part.   He said Ontarians should see tough economic measures like the HST, as the kind of sacrifice that will create a better future for the next generation.  May 2009 – Implementation of HST

  1. “And just as parents, grandparents and great grandparents battled through war and depression to ensure a better future, the time has come for this generation to do its part.”…………this quote by McGuinty is an absolute INSULT to my Grandparents and Parents who fought and sacrificed for the protection of Democracy from a ruthless individual by the name of ADOLPH……………

Obviously McGuinty has no idea what the word “sacrifice” means even though he throws it around everytime he’s backed into a corner when his lies are exposed!

If forefathers and mothers were alive right now they would drag this man out the front door of his cushy protective pink castle and load him on the first freight car leaving town for points west!

Shame on you McGuinty…you’ve reached a new low!

  2. McGuinty, Hitler, Mussolini, Stalin, Sadam,

“Your sacrifice is for the greater good” Don’t these guys have some original material. What a bunch of copy cats. Why not look to Doctor Evil as an inspiration. Come on Dalton, try that thing with your pinky when you speak about how much you spent on Green Energy !

  3. That is soooo good!……when a Provincial leader is reduced to such a mocking example of stupidity it can’t be too long before he will be “turned on” by his very own gang!

    “honour amongst thieves?”…….NOT!

  4. We need to sacrifice our Liberal leader.
That would make a better Ontario.

  5. McGuinty has been at the helm of the Ontario ship of state for too long. Barnacles now cover the hull and are weighing the vessel down. Time to take the ship out of the water and scrape all the parasitic creatures off. (H/T to Bill Bonner for the metaphor)

  6. I’m still laughing and yet sooo true! Who’s up for a ball game?? LOL
Just in Case You Get a Cheque….
Sometime this year, we taxpayers will again receive an Economic Stimulus payment i.e HST rebate. This is a very exciting program from the Ontario government.

I’ll explain it using the Q and A format:
    —————————————————————
    Q. What is Ontario ‘s Economic Stimulus payment?
    A. It is money that the provincial government will send to taxpayers.
Q.. Where will the government get this money?
    A. From taxpayers..
    Q. So the government is giving me back my own money?
    A. Only a smidgen.
    Q. What is the purpose of this payment?
    A. The plan is for you to use the money to purchase a high-definition TV set, thus stimulating the economy.
    Q. But isn’t that stimulating the economy of Asia?
    A. Shut up or you don’t get your cheque.

Below is some helpful advice on how to best help the Canadian economy by spending your stimulus cheque wisely:

    1. If you spend the stimulus money at Wal-Mart, your money will go to China .
    2. If you spend it on gasoline, your money will go to Saudi Arabia .
    3. If you purchase a computer, it will go to India .
    4. If you purchase fruit and vegetables, it will go to Mexico, Honduras or Guatemala
    5. If you buy a car, it will go to Japan or Korea .
    6. If you purchase useless plastic stuff, it will go to Taiwan .
    7. If you pay off your credit cards, or buy stock, it will go to pay management bonuses and be hidden in offshore accounts.

Or, you can keep the money in Canada by:

    1. spending it at yard sales or flea markets, or
    2. going to baseball or football games, or
    3. hiring prostitutes, or
    4. buying cheap beer or
    5. getting tattoos.
These are the only wholly-owned businesses still operating in Canada .

    Conclusion:
The best way to stimulate the economy is to go to a ball game with a prostitute that you met at a yard sale and drink beer all day until you’re drunk enough to go get tattooed.

  7. The pattern is that the Ontario Liberal Government has totally mismanaged the Energy Portfolio for Ontario same as it did for the Health Portfolio…

Because of their total incompetence they expect the citizens of Ontario to sacrifice more tax dollars thru the HST, income taxes and rate increases for less than we were getting before…”for the common good of the Ontario Liberal Government”….

Sacrificing for the future generations ?? is total BULLSHIT…cause it won’t be better for them or us….

New problem caused by the Ontario Liberal Government with the same results…

This whole diatribe is consistent with Dalton’s previous lies….

  8. Dalton has no problem sacrificing our taxpayer dollars, the taxpayers health and sacrificing the future for the next generation.
All the sacrifices we are forced to make are made by him through the force of the Green Energy Act.

  9. The term NIMBY is thrown about a lot. We need another one:

    “YIYBY”? “Yes in YOUR Backyard”!

    “OIYBY”? “Okay in YOUR Backyard”!

    Other nominees?

  10. I have one DUMBY to the north of our farm on 21 hundred acres, contract approved for 9 turbines(none near his house of course) and 6 DUMBY’s to the south, all along a ridge below the Niagra Escarpment ! I always thought that this was a wildlife buffer Zone, there are so many birds, hawks, vultures, bats and deer- They will all leave and so will we as noise really travels on these hills of Creemore- When cyote’s howl at night from a mile away they sound like they are under our bedroom window, that’s how sound carries! Billboards of opposition going up by the end of May- all ideas appreciated-

    How about:

Wind turbines reduce Green House Gas and the world is flat-

10% of our earnings to electric bills, won’t hurt our economy will it?

Sleep deprivation, migraine headaches & high blood pressure are a small sacrifice for the “Greater Good” propaganda!

“It is selfish to expect home equity after 40 years!”
