The head of the Grey Bruce Health Unit thinks all industrial wind turbine development should be stopped until more is known about their effect on human health.

Medical Officer of Health Dr. Hazel Lynn told Huron-Kinloss Township councillors last night that she also believes local councils should not have had the power to control wind farms taken away from them under the Green Energy Act.  Dr. Lynn says one big health issue is the turbine setback.

She says there is also a city-rural problem — the power produced by the turbines is feeding larger municipalities but the impact of the turbines affects rural residents.

  1. Thats why McGuinty doesn’t care, because he only wants to take care of the cities.
We live in a dictatorship not a democratic government who cares about the people that elected him.
