Could you sleep through this?

  1. Lock all the “Windies” and “buddy Politicians” in a white room for one full day with this running continuously and then let them out just to say “they like it”!

If they don’t say they like it then let them go home, the ones that say they like it have to spend a week in the room.

But then if we advocated treatment like that we would be called “terrorists”, unlike the Wind Company executives who are called “Leaders of Industry!”

  2. A picture (video in this case) is worth a thousand words…brings home the kind of disruption people face who live around IWT’s.

  3. T3:

    “…that’s just the “annoyance” component.”

Not really. You can clearly hear the beat notes on order on 1/2 sec per cycle through maybe two seconds. Inside the house the beat notes would vibrate the structure.

Our Minister of the Environment should understand that. He does have a degree in Music and I assume that he does know how to tune an instrument. Presumably he would know how to de-tune your house.

But then he would actually have to care about his constituents… wouldn’t he?

  4. Sorry to disagree with a fellow sufferer, but on the rare occasions when I try to sleep at my house surrounded by 18 Vestas 1.65 MW IWT’s all jammed in within a 3 km radius, I’m so tired the next morning that I DON’T HAVE THE ENERGY TO BE ANNOYED.
