Do we fully understand how sound affects the human body?

  1. We humans have more than 60 percent water in our body wonder what it really does when exposed to variable Wind turbine noises. They really out to have this precautionary principle in place now not when they exhausted all there efforts from us trying to stop this so they can carry out as much of their plans to make as much money and place these out there and once in place they secure there investments. They are parasites MOE and our government, no empathy for the victims only dollars signs for the wealthy corps.

  2. This is what the water in my capped water bottle did; not to this degree, but it was visibly “shivering” with still or “quiet” intervals as the blade passed the tower. The same cyclic vibrations that I could feel while standing, sitting or lying down.
Living with this made me feel battered & shattered; beaten from the inside out.

    • I am so sorry that the government is not recognizing you and others. It must be hell living like that.

      • Is it possible to get videos of the water “shivering” for future use to show what’s going on inside your home?
It’s incredible that IWT believers don’t care what happens to their fellow human beings or they chose to be in denial.
The sayings “annoyed to death” and “worried to death” do have real meaning.

  3. And since 50% to 60% of the human body consists of water, what do you think is happening to the cells as the vibrations from the IWTs quiver, shiver and shake the water in all the cells?

Over a period of 3 yrs of existing in a house surrounded by 18 Vestas 1.65 MW IWTs all jammed in within a 3 km radius, I am seeing a breakdown of the top layers of skin in many places on the body – probably where the tissue is weakest.

Almost every night now, the pain of the vibrations going through the body is excruciating – deep restorative sleep is not possible and the fatigue in the morning is becoming harder and harder to bear. And the immune system hasn’t had the chance to do its healing function.

So far, understanding the source of the debilitating effects has kept my morale up, but without respite, my body may just decide to give up no matter how strong my resolve to “stay healthy” is.

Unfortunately, being sorry is not enough.

    • Sorry is not enough. People who are or will be affected by IWTs will have to get out and work on these issues. More and more IWTs are going to be installed so time is of the essence now.

      • People who are already affected by IWTs may already be too weak to help themselves so others will have to step up and do the required work.

  4. The use of the term ‘noise’ gives the wind turbine industry an ‘easy out’ to confuse the general public, since the infrasound frequencies in question are ‘inaudible’. Rather, the effect of these extremely low frequencies of air pressure should be identified as the ‘barometric pulsations’ they actually are. After all, it is these barometric pulsations which directly impact on biological systems, whether it’s the rupturing of bats’s lungs or the cardio-vascular distress of humans’ physiology.

  5. Barbara:

The weakest among us have ALREADY committed suicide, had cardiac by-pass surgery [3 or 4 so far], died of heart failure, attempted suicide, spent half their waking hours in M.D.s offices or emerg.

Stronger ones have abandoned their houses, found ways to escape as often as possible for as long as possible.

The remaining Ontario Victims of IWTs [OVoIWTs] are being denied, dismissed, derided and left as collateral damage not only by their governments, the IWT Developers, and ordinary folks but are being forgotten by those who post here as soon as they have written their “i’m so sorry” or their diatribe.

While the pen may be mightier than the sword, and I’m NOT advocating violence, MORE needs to be done than just railing against the wind.

    • Johana,

I know many people that post on this site that do much more than just pay lip service to the IWT cause. I think you’re selling some of your comrades-in-arms a bit short.

Just the fact that there have been so many postings this early on Christmas morning (one at 3:05 AM – hello David Robinson!) should indicate how committed these people are to the cause.

I think many of your allies here are doing the best they can with the tools they have. Many on this site aren’t even threatened by IWTs but they’re trying to help, nontheless. Everyone has another life to live, even the relentless Barbara.

So Merry Christmas to all, see you back in the trenches.

      • Wind turbines rob victims of their health, the investment they’ve made in their homes–in addition to the “home” itself, and these poor souls are denied the respect and decency that they deserve as taxpayers and citizens. When this happens, there is not much left in the “life” of a victim.

“An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.” Those who are threatened by the thousands more wind turbines being built better get working. It’s too bad we ignored the “canaries” five years ago, because now it’s too late for so many people.

      • Weeellll I am a couple of time zones over these days… 😉

Maybe they will release me from this prison of palm trees, beaches and pretty girls some day… but not till the work is done…

    • This is what I mean by already too weak to fight. And if the strong don’t stand up they will become the weak if ~10,000 IWTs are allowed to be installed in rural Ontario.
      So let’s roll!

I seem to be the last group on your statement and i feel that yes I am week and my body sometimes feels like a used galvanized garbage can and sometimes feel like the next time at the curb should throw the whole dam thing in the garbage as you fell like the trash inside the container. For me this whole Wind Turbine thing has waken me up to the trash that have been looking after our society and allowing trash to control and dictate to us and do what it takes for the almighty dollar. Even the neighbours that sign up for these dam deals are after all part of the trash that being thrown around us. They should after all see what the hell is going on and cannot be blind by the bullshit from our governments, just a weak excuse for saying they pose no threat. You need to realize that these dam things are huge and have huge moving gear sitting on top and being a farmer know all to well your own equipment failure happens all the time. You got to to realize logic here Wake-up! it does. And for our court systems that are here to seek justice and peace well were are they? They work in black suits and gowns and stupid costumes and work in darkness and fear without love and light, they also work in the commerce otherwise they would wake-up to this nonsense. This world is in a sad case of rot and it is getting worse by the year. For me there is no happy new year unless more and more wake up to the crime and injustice all around us. Time is ticking and hope is? As far as the pen goes is mightier than a sword, it will be or should be a mass awakening that needs to wake up with civil disobedience to get rid of these parasites like a can of Raid on their heals. This is all but a big mass corruption against all of us to slave us more into dept and to make them richer and more controlling of us and our properties. I like the way Dean Clifford of Manitoba describes what is and how to educate yourselves from the criminal authorities that do us harm. Cheers
