Read OMB decision
Conditional consent has been granted- a partial victory in that no land severance is to take place until the ERT scheduled to start May 28 2012 has reviewed the current approval for the Summerhaven project (which means no construction can take place at this time- though pre construction activities have been occurring unabated).

Ontario Wind Turbine Map

NextEra knows something we do not. The back door dealing is on going. They know that if for some reason they are stopped. they will just sue the ont goverment for all the work they have done so far including building the turbines ahead of time as hilter McGinty as told them his goverment cannot be stopped. If any goverment only had a choice of build them or scrap them at the same cost, what do you think they would do ? I still say we will end up with them like it or not, but at least we could persuade to move them back further from our homes.
OMB – yeah – whatever!
So – now we’ll have to rely on: ‘in the public interest’ thingy.
Stay tune –
NextEra’s – next move – will be made in the dark.
And –
are you ready – that could mean an Energy Minister – directive.
The ‘law’ is the ‘law’!
We can all thank the Ontario Power Authority!
…..where-ever they’re hiding out – I mean merged.
Pretty much how it is. Kinda getting old isn’t it.
This is the beginning of the end of wind turbines. It was Nextera that appealed to the OMB, and now they’ve shot themselves in the foot, not being able to construct the transformer station and the connection hub until the ERT hearing is finished.
The Haldimand Wind Concerns appeal will be a success. If you can pray, pray. If you can give, give. Eric Gilespie and his team have done an outstanding job to date, but it’s going to take a lot more money to finish it. Let’s send Premier McGuinty a messge he will never forget.
I gave a $1,000. Does anybody want to match it? If 150 did, it would be paid for.
