It’s been downhill for the UAW/CAW ever since the death of Walter Reuther. Members were forgotten about and all kinds of causes became more important to the Union.
No wonder they have to venture into unethical ways to make $$$$$. Overall union members and support for unions is at an all time low. Gotta keep the coffers filled with $$$$ some how. For the 117 homes? Collateral damage. And that number does not include homes which fall outside of the 550 m zone, but are still way too close.

A subsidy scam for intermittent generation we don’t even need and can’t afford.

In VT, our corrupt, lying governor, Shumlin, is in bed with GMP/Gaz Metro/Enbridge, developer of the Lowell wind project. All gov’t agencies, and the courts that are supposed to protect the environment have bent over and ignored all environmental regulations for big wind.
First Wind, developer of the Sheffield project is owned by hedge fund DE Shaw. David Shaw is on Obama’s council of economic advisers.
These connections are well known here but the approval process is a farce and our voices are ignored..
