Hi all, Just wanted to share my story as I have had a lot happen over the last while and couldn’t figure out just what was going on. Friday, March 15th 2013 around 10pm I started to get heart palpitations, shortness of breath, sweating, nausea and dizziness. Blurred vision. I was having hallucinations that I was dead or hitting deer on the road. I was very concerned but thought I was crazy and wanted to see if it would pass. (Silly I know. Should have done something sooner) I went to the emergency room in Chatham on Sunday evening because it hadn’t passed. They took my temperature, blood pressure as well as heart rate. Everything was normal and they said it was most likely anxiety.
So, I went home. The following day, it still hadn’t gone away so I went to a walk in clinic where they did an ECG, blood work and an X-ray of my chest which also came back normal. I am booked to see a Cardiologist just to be sure that there isn’t something else going on. However, I started doing some research of my own and came across a website that, when I read it, I almost fell over in my chair. The symptom list on this very website was way too accurate not to be true. (wind-power-problems.org)
I believe that whatever is going on with me is caused by the wind turbines in our area. I used to live in the country out by Dealtown near the lake with a turbine being fairly close by. I now live in the country towards Merlin and am surrounded by them, one being pretty well in our back yard. I used to be a proud supporter of them until now. We need to stop them from being put up and they should be banned. No one should ever have to go through what I’ve been through and not feel safe or comfortable in their own home because of a bunch of man-made machines.
I should mention, I’m 25 years old and had a case of Vertigo back in November 2011 as well. I work in the veterinary field and have already seen two dogs and one cat affected by this. It’s just plain ridiculous. I wonder how many people, just like me, are sitting out there wondering what the heck is wrong with them and where these health issues are coming from. PLEASE spread the word and let people be aware of what these things can do!! STOP WIND TURBINES. Thanks for reading.
I know about this I have had vertigo since these turbines have started up ,it comes and goes , I’m not the only one in Dealtown either The specialist gave anti vertigo drugs and all they did was make me sicker , I have wondered about these turbines

We need more people like you to keep putting this out there, cause there is just way too many who still don’t believe us when we tell the TRUTH. They think we are NIMBY’s. CAN YOU HEAR US NOW !!!!!! When will they get it ? oh ya, when it’s too late.
My advice to you: At all costs, move away from the turbines immediately. Back in 2008, I stayed at my home surrounded by turbines for a period of time. I was like you, I was very unwell, and didn’t know the cause of my health problems. Away from the turbines my health has improved. However, I have serious health issues that will be with me forever; however long that is. I say this because I have had severe tissue damage and am currently dealing with an anneurism in an artery in my brain. I do not know what to expect in regards to my health in the future. GET OUT NOW.
My pets were affected as well unfortunately.
What really ticks me off is that we now know siting turbines too close to homes is dangerous and sometimes fatal. The government and the wind companies continue to steam roll ahead. What is happening is criminal. The whole damn bunch is an organization akin to a mafia. It’s all about money and greed. This needs to stop IMMEDIATELY. Those guilty must be held accountable. What was taken from me cannot be replaced.
I cannot believe this scam has been allowed to carry on this far. The perpetrators should all be in prison.
