Get a job with Nextera! They need help in the ethics & health departments.

Ed. Note: The last Nexterror meeting I attended a month ago was the final meeting for the Bornish Wind project near Parkhill. The project documents had already been submitted to the Ministry of Environment, so it was really all more for show than anything else. That doesn’t mean we didn’t have questions.
– We asked this Florida based company what their Crisis Line call number would be.
They didn’t have one in Ontario.
– We asked who we would be directed to if we suddenly developed tinnitus or vertigo when these machines powered up.
Oh well, one of there many staff, they guessed.
– Not a doctor?
You guys wouldn’t BELIEVE any of our doctors, they said.
– Then get us one who can help us and will believe us.
Ummmm….that’s the Ministry of Environment’s job. .

But look- Nextera has a huge list of people they want to employ for the Summerhaven Wind Project in Haldimand. I’m looking….but not finding, that “crisis line operator.” Don’t kid yourself, “CPR/First Aid Training” is for the workers, not us.

  1. That list is really all for show (as usual). Most of those positions are bogus or extremely temporary. Believe me, you see no one actually working around a wind project once it’s built.

  2. If the length of the list is supposed to impress me, it is not working. My thought is what local business would want to get involved? The number of people who are opposed to IWTs is huge. Would you want risk your business to the possible backlash? What if the locals decide to boycott doing business with you because you get into bed with an IWT company?

I have already boycotted a business. This particular business catered a dinner for land owners who had signed up with a wind company. I will never, ever step foot in there. Too bad cause the food is great. Too bad for them cause I eat out 3 or 4 times per week.

  3. looks like a good event to hold a protest at…. let the potential employees know the real story!

  4. Hiring local? I have spoke with “out of province” representatives at a few of these open houses. All Ontario is getting is a bigger Provincial deficit due to subsidies paid to developers; an unsafe environment and a bunch of junk cluttering the landscape.
ALL DEVELOPMENT AND EXISTING TURBINES MUST BE HALTED. WIND COMPANIES AND GOVERNMENT PEOPLE RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS MUST BE HELD ACCOUNTABLE IN COURT…FINED, JAILED.
THESE PEOPLE SHOULD ALSO BE ORDERED TO PAY FOR THE DECOMMISSIONING OF THE EXISTING TURBINES.
THIS MADNESS MUST STOP IMMEDIATELY. HOW DO WE DO THIS?

Third Largest Power Company in the World is the Third Largest Recipient of Risky Loans

Through this special series on green-energy crony-corruption, we’ve been highlighting specific examples of green-energy loan guarantees and grants. What connects each of these cases is that they received fast-tracked approval from the Department of Interior (DOI) for their projects. Of course, they also have many other dots that connect, such as key players with White House visits, raising funds for Democratic campaigns, and serving within government agencies such as the Department of Energy (DOE) or as an appointed member to President Obama’s Job’s Council.
