Sherri Lange is a writer, educator, photographer, who became interested in industrial wind and energy issues as a result of a proposed near 400 turbine installation near her East Toronto home.  After working to achieve several moratoria, including the Toronto and Region Conservation Authority, Town of Ajax, City of Pickering, and the off shore Ontario moratorium, she worked towards the organization of several groups around the Great Lakes, and was appointed the CEO of the North American Platform Against Wind Power, NA-PAW.  Sherri writes for various print media, and contributes to an Energy Blog out of Atlanta, “Master Resource.”  She has been awarded a Humanitarian Award at Queens Park.

With over 20 years’ experience in renewable energy, John is a member of several regulatory and standing national and bi-national committees pertaining to green energy and sustainable solutions, with a particular focus on offshore wind, advanced transmission solutions, hydro-electric and hydrokinetic generation and cutting edge geothermal technologies. John is President, CEO, and a founder, of Trillium Power Wind Corporation, a Toronto-based pioneer of offshore wind development in North America and The Great Lakes. Trillium Power is planning to develop the four most optimal Great Lakes offshore wind sites, which combined will generate 3,500 MW of clean, perpetual and reliable electricity. John is a Director with Unified Clean Power Inc., a Toronto based clean energy investment and development company focused on global clean energy and sustainable development initiatives.

John was the Canadian delegate for a low-carbon economy at the G8 Environment Conference in Siracusa, Italy and continues to Chair and/or be a keynote or invited speaker at numerous international conferences. John is a former co-chair of the Ontario Government Finance Advisory Committee and member of its Energy Advisory Committee. Formerly, John was the founder, and served as President, of a noted high-tech company, was VP and part owner of a Canadian Mutual Fund Management Company and was an advisor at a large Canadian Investment Company.    Read more

Past Toronto Greenhouse attendees company names and organizations come up on a regular basis in connections with the Ontario renewable energy industry businesses here as well as in other countries. These connections among some of the officers and directors of these companies have a paper trail to many of those engaged in the renewable enrgy business here.

  4. Premier Dad wants us to eat good food so what does he do? He makes the people that grow it sick by industrializing them in ther beds and subjecting them to Low frequency waves. That’s Ok, have some fresh beets and a turnip and shut up.
