New Process for Wind Turbine Complaints

It appears a process has been developed that will see wind turbine complaints given to the Ministry of Environment, will be forwarded to the company named in the complaint, in the past, this hasn’t been the case. Last December it was learned at a Kincardine Council meeting, during a presentation by Enbridge Green Energy Power, that any complaints against them, that were sent to the MOE, were never forwarded to the company.

At the time Councillor Jacqueline Faubert couldn’t believe the system wasn’t working and promised to look into it. Faubert has since been informed by the company that the problem was in the process whereby complaints couldn’t be forwarded unless permission was granted by the complainant. Read article

  1. The MOE wasn’t interested in searching for a solution. This proves that complaints might as well have been put in a bottle and tossed in the ocean.
