SWEAR Ontario
“SWEAR is a non profit organization dedicated to holding government accountable for the production of safe wind energy. SWEAR believes the government of Ontario did not exercise due diligence when crafting the Green Energy and Economy Act. A very heavy handed approach was used. Rural Ontario does not take kindly to this type of governance. The Drennan’s, members of SWEAR stepped forward in 2012 to be the named persons on the lawsuit.
Although the Drennans’ name is widely known in this case, there is a broader public interest being served. “It has taken time to educate the public to the fact that this case is not personal to the Drennans, but the understanding is now clearly there. This case is for the people of Ontario who want safe wind energy in their communities and beyond. The government says that massive industrial wind turbines are safe. We, the people, are holding them accountable.””

I have posted a new post onto my blog about comparing different Hydro Utilities profit margins for the year 2013. You can check it out here on my blog: http://tyeselectricityblog.wordpress.com/ Also let me know if there is any mistakes with my calculations.

I made a similar comment yesterday to FREE THINKER, This issue will not be resolved until it reaches the SUPREME COURT of Canada. However we can not expect the 3 families who started this case with Falconer to shoulder all of the costs on moving on to the SUPREME COURT . Some of us know the actual costs to get this far and they are astronomical . Are we content to sit back and ride on these folks coat tales?? We all need to donate SERIOUS money to SWEAR if this case is to continue to the SUPREME COURT The out come of this action will affect all of Ontario. LETS GET ON WITH IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have donated ‘astronomical’ (what ever that means) amounts of money to legal actions in the past. Results: The turbines got put up anyway.
There has been many more of legal actions. Results: More turbines are being built faster than ever.
Why would I support this one from SWEAR?
What is the amount of money?
What is it used for?
Why is it important?
Very specific the answers to these questions will result in more donors and larger donations.
And someone has already done this before. Search online and save yourself a world of trouble.

All valid concerns, but we should be all working together. There is only one enemy.

Why is this company in Ontario to begin with?
Alberta not such a good place to install IWTs because Alberta doesn’t hand out all the money “goodies” that Ontario hands out to developers?
I don’t want safe “wind energy” in my community. I don’t want ANY type of wind energy in my community (unless it is under 100ft tall, and owned, operated and paid for privately, and subject to municipal bylaws and approvals).
