OEB approves two distribution lines for Clearview wind power project, township and airport opposed

The Enterprise Bulletin, Paul Brian
Mississauga-based WPD Canada has been granted the go-ahead by the Ontario Energy Board (OEB) to locate distribution lines for two wind turbines proposed as part of the Fairview Wind project along a two-kilometre distance underneath Fairgrounds Road in Clearview Township.

Karen Evans, the Director of Corporate Communications for the OEB said that despite Clearview’s preference that OEB hold their review of the distribution plan application until the Renewable Energy Approval (REA) process was complete, OEB felt it was better to move things forward in one process.

“It is more efficient and prudent for applications to be reviewed concurrently and so the distribution plant proceeding moved forward,” Evans wrote, adding that other government departments in addition to MECC could also potentially be involved in the project approval process but that the OEB will not be involved in the turbine approval process. MECC approval of the REA process is required before the project can move ahead, something Clearview officials had posited as one of their reasons that German-owned WPD’s application should not be given the nod at this point. 1. As long as pilots continue to use IWT affected airports this will continue. Or loss of insurance can become an issue too.

It’s known that pro-windies have been “working” with Nav Canada and Transport Canada to “mitigate” IWT issues with airports.

    • Hi Barb!! this email is not a reply to the above! – but I just rec’d a email from the MNRF (Re Hawks/Birds & Turbines!!) – which took them forever to reply to me!!! – this email is truly shameful !!! – if you would like to see it – just email me with a address!! thanks Lyn

    • Canadians Sued The Bank Of Canada And Won. Mainstream Media And Government Blacks Out Story (VIDEO)

      (Before It’s News)

Recently, constitutional lawyer Rocco Galati won yet another round of appeals set forth by the Bank of Canada in a case involving two Canadians who filed an action in federal court to restore The Bank of Canada to its original purpose and operations. This is a very significant story but you probably haven’t heard of it. Why? The mainstream media and government have blacked out the story for reasons that appear to stem from fear of how the public will react to realizing they’ve been systematically enslaved for decades.

      Significant Legal Action

The initial federal court filing took place on December 12th, 2011 by Canadian constitutional lawyer, Rocco Galati, on behalf of Canadians William Krehm, Ann Emmett, and COMER (Committee for Monetary and Economic Reform). The filing is intended to “restore the use of the Bank of Canada to its original purpose, by exercising its public statutory duty and responsibility. That purpose includes making interest free loans to the municipal/provincial/federal governments for “human capital” expenditures (education health, other social services) and / or infrastructure expenditures.”

According to WestCoastNativeNews: (Note: Website may temporarily be down)

The Plaintiffs state that since 1974 there has been a gradual but sure slide into the reality that the Bank of Canada and Canada’s monetary and financial policy are dictated by private foreign banks and financial interests contrary to the Bank of Canada Act.

The plaintiffs state that the defendants (officials) are unwittingly and/or wittingly, in varying degrees, knowledge and intent engaged in a conspiracy, along with the Bank of International Settlements (BIS), Financial Stability Forum (FSF), International Monetary Fund (IMF) to render impotent the Bank of Canada Act as well as Canadian sovereignty over financial, monetary, and socio-economic policy, and bypass the sovereign rule of Canada through its parliament by means of the banking and financial systems.

The truth is, The Bank of Canada used to issue debt free loans to government, which meant that the nation would go into debt to private banking institutions. When that changed, private bankers/corporations essentially gained control and ownership of the country.

      Media Black Out

As stated by constitutional lawyer Rocco Galati in the video below, sources have indicated to him that the government will often instruct the mainstream media, when it comes to certain stories, as to whether or not they can cover the story or how they should go about covering it. This means that government can effectively control the media and hide information from the public whenever it likes, unless it trickles through alternative news sources like what you are reading right now.

      Why This Is Important

Although not the ultimate solution to the world’s challenges, this is significant because it shows how serious the public is getting about wanting to change the way our current system operates. It also indicates a clear shift in public knowledge about how our system and infrastructures work. The more the people know, the more they seem to be demanding change.

This begs the questions: why is this information being kept quiet? How has it been hidden for such a long time? Why would our governments be making decisions about things that greatly affect the average person without them having any vote, knowledge, or choice in the matter?

In my view, it goes back to the fact that there are leaders in our world, beyond government, who are systematically manipulating various systems and structures in across the globe to control the population. Once viewed as wild conspiracy theories, this understanding is becoming not only self-evident, but publicly accepted knowledge as well. This latest case helps to illustrate how these ‘elite leaders’ are intentionally making moves that are not beneficial for the people whatsoever.

The bottom line is, we are seeing a positive shift in awareness and consciousness as people begin thinking about and seeing our world differently. This is fuelling action that I believe will lead towards a freer and better world.

      • Well, Abe Lincoln managed to get some U.S. currency interest free before he was killed and JFK was said to be thinking about these same money issues as well.

Interesting to speculate about issues like these?

      • Introducing carbon credits/taxes/trading –
        it’s kind of like a new currency…

  2. People don’t parachute into where there are tall buildings as in cities and they won’t parachute among these IWTs either.

Has anyone inquired as to how much the insurance cost is on the C-K airport or if there is any insurance at all?

Insurance companies do their own risk assessments and this includes which airports pilots use. Just like where you drive your vehicle.

  3. Antoine Lacroix – Transport Canada – previous – NRCan –
Could this be the same Antoine Lacroix that was with NRcan and part of the Health Canada Wind Turbine Study team? Just wondering…..
Now moved over to Transport Canada who recently reneged on original Transport Canada order to remove the turbines in Chatham, and now permitting new IWT’s in other areas with airport issues? Everyone reading this should be blasting their MP and demanding accountability from the federal government. NOW!!! Pressure people. Enough is enough!

Same players over and over and over again……

    Who forced this direction?

  5. WPD didn’t even have the funds available for Belwood and Amaranth turbines until AFTER they were approved by the province and well underway.
They received the money from Germany. How can this be?
How is the Collingwood one being funded? Why the free passes and green lights fro WPD?

CANADA: WPD has secured a financing deal with two German banks to construct two wind farms totalling 14.35MW in Ontario.

The German developer WPD, KfW Ipex-Bank and the Helaba bank will provide the funds to build wind projects in Springwood and Whittington, southern Canada.

They are the first to be constructed by WPD in North America.

The developments have a joint capacity of 14.35MW and will use seven Senvion (formerly Repower) MM92 2.05MW turbines. It is expected the sites will be commissioned by the end of this year.

The turbines are being supplied under a set of six deals totalling 52 turbines signed between Senvion and WPD in 2012.

Senvion also agreed to build a blade factory in Ontario so it could meet the 50% local content requirement under the province’s feed-in-tariff programme.

WPD said it is planning to develop another four wind sites in Canada with a total capacity of 90MW by 2016.

  6. Money lenders for IWT projects won’t lend the money until they are sure the project can be built.

    • Really Barbara? Any old wind company can take up hours and years of our ministry and agencies time MOECC, MNR, NRCAN, OEB, etc , receive an REA and not even have to have had financing arranged? Hard to believe.

      • It takes seed money to get projects moving so there could be big unknown risk takers operating.

    • And if the project’s not advancing quickly enough…
maybe a bit of cash to grease the wheels?

  8. Suzlon Group to Sell German Wind Turbine Business for $1.2 Billion

    January 22, 2015

LONDON — Suzlon Group, the Indian wind turbine maker, said on Thursday that it had agreed to sell its German business to the private equity firm Centerbridge Partners for 1 billion euros, or about $1.2 billion.

Suzlon said the all-cash sale of a 100 percent stake in Senvion SE is in line with its strategy to reduce its debt and focus on domestic opportunities, high-growth regions like the United States and emerging markets.

Senvion, based in Hamburg, Germany, manufactures onshore and offshore wind turbines and employs more than 3,400 people. Following the deal, Suzlon will retain Senvion’s license for offshore technologies in the Indian market.

“Senvion is a company with impressive technology and leading market positions,” Stefan Kowski, a Centerbridge managing director, said in a news release. “The global market environment for renewable energies is promising for a wind turbine manufacturer.”

The transaction is subject to regulatory approval and is expected to close before the end of Suzlon’s current fiscal year, which ends in March.

Based in Pune, India, Suzlon is one of the world’s largest manufacturers of wind turbines, with operations in more than 31 countries and more than 10,000 employeeshttp://dealbook.nytimes.com/2015/01/22/suzlon-group-to-sell-german-wind-turbine-business-for-1-2-billion/?_r=0
