Sarnia Observer, Tyler Kula
Ontario’s Environment Ministry is investigating after protected trees were recently cut down during land development for Suncor and NextEra’s Cedar Point wind farm in Lambton County. Strips of protected woods, together measuring 3,000 square metres, were levelled near Fuller Road and Proof Line in Lambton Shores last month, said Kate Jordan, a ministry spokesperson. That violates one of the conditions of Suncor’s environmental approval for the project, being built in Lambton Shores, Plympton-Wyoming and Warwick Township.
“We have reminded the company that it must make sure that all of its contractors that are operating on its behalf do follow the requirements of the ministry approval,” said Jordan. “We have also referred the incident to our investigations and enforcement branch.” Ministry officials are talking to witnesses, the company, and others — gathering evidence to see if charges will be laid under the Water Resources Act, she said. “Certainly it is something that we are taking seriously,” Jordan said.
Some of the woodlots impacted, listed as provincially significant wetlands under Suncor’s Natural Heritage Assessment – Environmental Impact Study, include rare red bark hickory trees, said Santo Giorno, with the We’re Against Industrial Turbines – Plympton-Wyoming (WAIT-PW) group that’s fought against wind turbines in the area. Read article
That was an excellent assertion from Santo Giorno! These wind companies must pay for all of the damage they do, including the negative health impacts and reduced property values from placing turbines too close to people’s homes.
They aren’t called Next ERROR or NexTERROR for nothing.
If those trees were in the way of their lines, then perhaps it wasn’t a ‘mistake’. Or, at least, not an honest one.
The way they see it is – it’s a “mistake” on paper, not anything more. If they would have had a lovely paper permit, like they did for eagle nest destruction, then it wouldn’t have even been a “mistake”, it would have been “for the greater good” or “protection of the ecosystems”, or whatever other words they could dream up and use in such a malicious way. Perhaps they know they are full of Errors and Terrors now, and they’ve stopped contesting it anymore…
And cut down during nesting season, it seems. This is a crime against nature. Stupid, ignorant, evil.
They don’t care! Rememberingthe Eagles nest in Haldimand. And that was for the pair of nesting Eagles own good! HOMELESS! For their own good.
Bottom line corruption.. Like ignoring human health . What does a tree matter.. I thought trees clean our air , offer protection from wind .. Ohh sorry forgot wynne is what it’s all about.
Wynne is our thorn.
And it’s still unknown how they got that permit when eagles are known to be migratory birds?
All birds migrate , whether its a long flight , a short haul to another community .. Corporations do not CARE!!
Permits … We know exactly how they get them. Deep pockets.
Before we know it like some animals . We as real humans will be only in a zoo / museum .
Because all else will be clustered controlled in urban centres with the latest gmo, and microchipped society .
What’s going on is irradication . This my vent for the day… Hour.
Knowing something and proving it are two different things. It’s the proof that needs to be sought out.
All these Wind Energy projects get away with their mistakes and are never made to make amends, restore destroyed habitats or respect protected species. How often are they charged for their known errors and mistakes. It is time for the Government to start protecting our Environment, not
allow these big business Wind Farms to denude & abuse our natural areas in such a way. How is it that we can’t even use the very minimal wind energy that these turbines produce, then the government sells it at a loss to Quebec and the U.S., while our energy costs sore. Doesn’t it seem
wrong to everyone else, that most of these Wind energy companies are American owned, and the U.S. is who ends up with the surplus energy that we can neither use, nor store. Green Energy Act, my a#$e
Regardless work should be stopped , and Suncor should be fined , and the manager, workers fired.

People do get fired/terminated for incompetence and negligence. Maybe losing jobs in these renewable energy project companies and in the government ministries involved in these projects will wake-up some employees.
What more proof do you need besides the cut down trees, the workers who did the cutting and pictures of the machinery used in the destruction?
What IS needed is ENFORCEMENT of ALL of our laws!
Why when there are so many of us who seethe when we hear of each new terror is there no one listening. We as Canadians usually do not make scenes or waves but I think more people are getting to understand that our rights have been taken away and we need to have a say about our property and our health. If we don’t stand up for ourselves no one will.
It’s easier to wait for someone else to do something about what is taking place.
And the reason why no one is listening is because thousands of seething, forever indignant posters and complainers on this and the other anti-wind sites chose not to attend the “Enough Is Enough” Hydro One protest at Queen’s Park on Wednesday.
Farmer wind lessors – preserved their land rights;

Hey Barbara,
You say,
‘It’s easier to wait for someone else to do something about what is taking place.’

Well – this wind turbine sham – started with the farmers
and will have to end with the farmers.
In my opinion!
Now that reality is setting in:

So – when will the Liberals in Ontario ‘start worrying’
about the poor – or is it that transparent

California’s Cap-and-Trade Revolt
Liberal Democrats worry that carbon limits will hurt the poor.
President Obama has mocked Republicans who oppose his climate agenda as flat-earthers. Perhaps he’ll be more charitable to Democrats who are protesting California’s cap-and-trade program as an undue burden on the poor.
Last week 16 Democratic Assembly Members—about 30% of their caucus—signed a letter urging California Air Resources Board chairwoman Mary Nichols to delay or redesign the state’s cap-and-trade program. “We are concerned about the impact of the AB 32 cap-and-trade program on our constituents,” they write, adding that “many of the areas we represent are still struggling with double digit unemployment.”
Large manufacturers and power plants must now either purchase permits or cut their emissions to comply with a state-mandated cap, which over time will be ratcheted down. Starting next year, transportation fuel suppliers will also have to pony up for permits.
Assembly Democrats fear that applying cap and trade to fuels “will cause an immediate jump in prices at the pump.” While estimates vary, “an increase of about fifteen cents per gallon is likely and a much larger jump is possible.” Senate President Darrell Steinberg has warned that gas prices could shoot up by 40 cents per gallon..
California’s gas prices, which typically run 40 to 50 cents above the national average, are already the highest in the continental U.S. due to the state’s fuel blending requirements and taxes—which also top the other 49 states. The Boston Consulting Group predicted in 2012 that cap and trade and the state’s carbon fuel standard would drive up gas prices between $0.49 and $1.83 per gallon by 2020. These green regulations are intended to raise the cost of gas to encourage people to drive less or buy electric cars.
But as the Assembly Democrats point out, cap and trade is “hurting the most vulnerable members of our communities.” Most of the letter’s 16 signatories represent heavily minority and low-income regions in Los Angeles, the Central Valley and Inland Empire. Nine are black or Latino.
As they explain, cap and trade’s carbon permitting “was not intended to be a funding mechanism for massive, new State efforts at GHG [greenhouse gas] reductions.” They don’t identify any programs by name, but this year’s budget appropriates $250 million of the proceeds from carbon permit auctions, and 25% of all future revenues, for high-speed rail. The state budget analyst predicts the auctions will raise between $12 billion and $45 billion in revenue by 2020.
These Democrats are now echoing an argument that the California Chamber of Commerce makes in its lawsuit against the state’s Air Resources Board. To wit, cap-and-trade revenues constitute an illegal tax.
It’s nice to see some California liberals place the interest of their poor constituents over the party’s rich, Tesla-driving friends. If only Governor Jerry Brown and President Obama would do the same.

Gov Jerry Brown: Californians to Be Heavily Fined for Long Showers
Sunday on ABC’s “This Week,” Gov. Jerry Brown (D-CA) said Californians will face heavy fines for taking long showers.
Brown said, “This executive order is done under emergency power. It has the force of law. Very unusual. It’s requiring action and changes in behavior from the Oregon border all the way to the Mexican border. It affects lawns. It affects people’s — how long they stay in the shower. How businesses use water.”
Brown said to enforce his order, “Each water district that actually delivers waters — water to homes and businesses, they carry it out. We have a state water board that overseas the relationships with the districts. Hundreds of them. If they don’t comply, people can be fined $500 a day. Districts can go to court to get a cease and desist order. The enforcement mechanism is powerful. In a drought of this magnitude, you have to change that behavior and you have to change it substantially.”
Guest host host Martha Raddatz pointed out, “More water used for almond production than is used by all residents and businesses in San Francisco and Los Angeles combined.”
Brown countered by saying, “Farm workers who are — very low end of the economic scale here, are out of work. There are people in agriculture areas that are suffering. Who are providing food.” adding, “They’re not watering their lawn or taking long showers. They’re providing most of the fruits and vegetables of America. And a significant part of the world.”

‘[excerpt] This is a story about water, about its lack as well as its abundance. But it is also a story about the price we pay to protect the environment, and whether we are striking the right balance between nature and mankind. In the end, the question is whether people should exercise dominion over nature, or whether nature should lord over man. To most Americans, the answer is obvious: our capacity to make nature subservient to our needs justifies doing so, insomuch as we act as responsible stewards of the environment. But however obvious that might be to most people, the countervailing idea—that nature should take precedence over mankind—is being sown into a series of laws and regulations that are causing undue torment and distress.

It takes a great deal of communicating to get friends and relatives in urban centres to realize what’s happening to rural Ontario. People who visit, see for themselves what an incursion and imposition we are facing when these turbines and substations surround our homes. They’re shocked. I showed a friend what it looks like to have a substation near a home and it triggered his PTSD. He became ill immediately.
If we send them articles about the lack of ethics that we’re facing from this government and from the wind companies and all of the protective ministries who have failed miserably and left us stranded, they will start to speak out on our behalf.
It requires enormous effort to communicate with people who otherwise would never come across the truth via mainstream media and who never venture beyond cities.
The financial realities of rising energy costs are starting to distress business owners, industries and the working poor and people on fixed incomes.
Keep communicating with all of your might. Use communication as a proactive coping mechanism to direct your rage.

Wynne says Canada’s ‘future prosperity’ depends on emissions cuts
‘[excerpt] And instead of lambasting the Obama administration for dithering over Keystone XL – an accusation commonly voiced by visiting federal ministers in recent years – Ms. Wynne extolled President Barack Obama who has said: “No challenge – poses a greater threat to future generations than climate change.”
Curbing greenhouse-gas emissions which environmentalists claim threaten to ignite global warming and imperil the planet has been a central theme of the Premier’s trip to New York and Washington.
She said a huge majority north of the border agree with her. “Eighty-four per cent of Canadians think a country as wealthy and progressive as Canada has an obligation to take action against climate change,” she said.
Echoing Mr. Obama’s argument that action is needed now to avert grave consequences for future generations, Ms. Wynne said: “They will never forgive us, nor should we forgive ourselves, for doing nothing.”
She also said extreme and unprecedented weather events, linked to global warming, posed a grave and immediate danger.
“That’s not a distant or potential threat.” It is “destroying the livelihoods of the people that I serve,” she said, referring to Ontario voters.
Still she insisted that growth was consistent with cuts in greenhouse-gas emissions and that new and innovative green energy technologies offered economic opportunities.’

Senators vote to block EPA’s use of ‘secret science’
‘[excerpt] A Senate committee voted Tuesday to prohibit the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) from using ‘secret science’ to back its regulations.
The vote in the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee came after the GOP-controlled House repeatedly approved the bill. It previous was stalled in the Democratic-majority Senate.
Under the measure, which President Obama has threatened to veto if the Senate passes it, the EPA would only be allowed to use scientific studies whose detailed results are posted publicly online.
“EPA has a long history of relying on science that was not created by the agency itself. This often means that the science is not available to the public, and therefore cannot be reproduced and verified,” Sen. John Barrasso (R-Wyo.), the bill’s sponsor, said at a committee hearing.
“What this bill is trying to accomplish is to make sure that we strengthen the scientific information the EPA uses to make regulations, guidance and assessments,” he continued.
But Democrats said the bill would unnecessary cut in half the studies that the EPA can use, because research is often uses proprietary, health-related or otherwise restricted data.
“This bill would force them to use whatever science was available after legal challenges generate from the broad language of this legislation,” said Sen. Ed Markey (D-Mass.)
“We should be working to strengthen the scientific information the EPA uses to protect public health and improve air and water quality, not limiting it, as this bill does.”
Sen. Barbara Boxer (D-Calif.) said the bill is “insane. It’s just a joke.” Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) called it “laughable.”
The panel voted against a pair of amendments from Markey that would have replaced the public access provision with disclosures about the funding behind research or a peer-review requirement.
It approved by voice vote a Boxer amendment to disapprove of policies that prohibit state employees from using terms like “climate change” and “global warming.” Florida Gov. Rick Scott (R) and Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker (R) have been accused of instituting such policies in certain state agencies.’

Proprietary likely means information produced by the industry itself.
Given Wynne’s C.V. it’s doubtful that she can read the actual scientific information on climate that’s available? Probably uses summary information that is prepared for public consumption?
It’s a good bet that most of the public does not understand multiple variables that can be involved in scientific situations and studies.
There are multiple factors involved in climate issues. Yet the public is led to believe that CO2 is the only factor that could cause climate change and this is not even proven to date.
And multiple factors don’t fit in well with 3 minute sound “bytes” on TV news.
p.s. This is not about climate.
The climate issue is just an excuse to make money off from renewable energy projects. And an excuse is required to pull this off.
Or call this a fig leaf to cover up what is really taking place with the climate agenda.

Ontario Premier Touts Social Spending in Pitch to Wall Street
‘[excerpt] The premier of Canada’s largest province brought her Liberal government’s vision for economic growth to New York business leaders Thursday, saying social and environmental spending drive growth in a modern economy.
“Social and environmental factors are key drivers of — or barriers to — growth in our modern knowledge economy, even if the Street doesn’t always track them,” Premier Kathleen Wynne said in a speech hosted by the Canadian Association of New York.’
Wynne said such remarks may tempt “some to conclude that I am watering down my focus” on economic issues. “I am here today to assure you otherwise — and I hope to show that this is actually the way we need to be talking about the economy in 2015,” she said.’

Largest Borrower
“[excerpt] While the steady-as-she-goes strategy helped Wynne secure a majority government in 2014, it has also left Ontario with about C$314.5 billion in debt, making the province the world’s largest sub-sovereign borrower, according to Moody’s Investors Service.
Wynne said it was the right decision to invest in an economy transitioning to a low-carbon, high-skilled, high-tech economy. “While others were cutting and slashing programs and services, we knew that that would only undermine our underlying competitive advantages,” she said.’

Toronto criminal lawyer charged by Peel police
Allegations against Leora Shemesh related to case from 2010.
[excerpt]
Peel Regional Police have charged Leora Shemesh, a criminal lawyer and frequent thorn in the side of police, with perjury and obstruct justice in connection to a drug case in Brampton, the Star has learned.
A summons to appear in court was served Wednesday morning at the downtown Toronto office of Shemesh’s high-profile defence counsel, Marie Henein, who is already in the headlines representing former CBC radio host Jian Ghomeshi.
Rumors that Shemesh’s arrest was imminent sent shockwaves through the legal community. Insiders with knowledge of the situation predict an “ugly, messy” case, with Shemesh mounting an aggressive defence and a potential witness list pitting lawyers, judges and cops against each other.
Veteran criminal lawyer Paul Burstein, past president of the Criminal Lawyers Association, said criminal charges are an “overblown” way of dealing with a “miscommunication or misunderstanding that is better addressed in another forum.”
Shemesh, 39, was charged in relation to a matter no longer before the courts. Her client, Ha Tran of Mississauga, was charged in 2010 with marijuana possession for the purpose of trafficking.
Two years ago, on July 23, 2013, before any evidence against Tran was heard in court, prosecutor Robert Johnston asked for an adjournment. He told the judge Shemesh had provided him with “information” that raised “serious ethical issues for the Crown as to whether or not I can or should proceed,” according to a court transcript.
“My friend (Shemesh) is attempting to push the Crown quickly forward in a situation where the information she’s provided me has raised serious issues of whether there still remains a reasonable (prospect) to conviction,” Johnston told the court.
Shemesh told the court she had not disclosed what the information was — noting the defence was under no obligation to do so — but that it was “some information about a … material witness in this proceeding, a witness that I intended to impeach using this information.”
The transcript shows Shemesh opposed the adjournment, telling the court she wanted to question the witness and that she could be “completely wrong with my allegations.”
An adjournment was granted. Johnston stayed Tran’s pot charge two months later.
The Star has learned the witness was Peel Const. Ian Dann, an officer Shemesh knew from a previous case.
In 2011, as a result of Shemesh cross-examination, a Brampton judge found Dann and four other Peel drug squad officers had illegally searched a home belonging to a client.
The judge also concluded the officers perjured themselves when they tried to cover it up in court and that one of them used excessive force against the accused.
Peel Regional Police’s internal affairs unit investigated but no criminal or Police Act charges were laid against the officers. Shemesh was quoted in the Star predicting nothing would happen to the officers, and that internal affairs “appears to be asleep at the wheel.” Lawyers with Ontario’s Ministry of the Attorney General, who reviewed the force’s decision not to press charges against the Peel officers, were involved in the decision to charge Shemesh.
Lawyer Gary Grill, who will defend Shemesh with Henein, said Wednesday he has serious concerns about the fairness of the investigation and prosecution.
“Leora Shemesh is a lawyer of the highest ethics.” Grill added Shemesh “will not be deterred” by the charges. She will continue to practise law.’

Journal interview with Ecofiscal Commission Chairman Chris Ragan
‘[excerpt] JOURNAL: So let me ask you a global question. If Canada, which generates less than two per cent of global carbon emissions, puts a price on carbon, but countries like China do not, how does that help the environment?
RAGAN: This is a great question and it’s question that comes up in every single jurisdiction, whether we’re talking about an individual Canadian province or Canada as a whole or North America or Europe. So any individual country can say exactly what you just said and typically they do. This is why I think it’s really important that the countries of the world continue talking about this and continue working toward a deal but also that individual countries act separately. This is a collective action problem. There is no question about it.
Any individual country can say or any jurisdiction can say just what you have said. So I think what ideally you want to be doing is acting individually. I mean there is no reason why any individual Canadian province needs to wait for anybody. Canadian provinces can act. Canada can act. Western Europe can act. You don’t need to wait, but at the same time you want to continue those international conversations and negotiations, and they are difficult. I mean having 197 countries sit around a table and try to make an agreement on a collective problem is challenging. But I just think you continue and you keep doing the best you can.
JOURNAL: So are you saying you think progress on this issue will more likely be made at a bilateral level than through organizations like the UN?
RAGAN: I’m not sure I have a good view on that. I think that getting large numbers of countries with very different private interests to agree is very challenging. It’s kind of like a global trade agreement. So there is an interesting debate: should we do everything multilaterally through the WTO, or should we have regional trading blocks. And then there will be a debate about whether regional trading blocks are a useful stepping stone toward multilateral action, or actually a blockage to multilateral action. And i think the truth is we don’t know the answer.’

‘[excerpt] How long have you been working to put this together?
Roughly three and a half years. It was almost exactly a year ago when this went from being hypothetical to being real, because it was November 2013 when I opened up envelopes in this office that had commitments with financing. Then I thought, ‘Holy crap, we’ve got to do this.’ If our requests for funding hadn’t come through, it probably would have died. But at this point five foundations and two corporations have come through and supported us, and so the thing went from being hypothetical to real.
So, no government funding – was that intentional?
Oh, absolutely. Not interested in government funding, and won’t accept it if anybody offers it. Independence is absolutely crucial. I don’t want to be dependent on a government decision for financing. But frankly way more important, I think it’s absolutely crucial for the recommendations to be made by people who are speaking their mind – so that people can say: ‘They’re not tied to a company; they’re not tied to a party; they’re not tied to anything. They are fully independent.’ I think that’s absolutely essential.’

In protesting the NDP’s cap-and-trade proposal, for instance, the Conservatives have invoked—see here, here and here—the projection of the respected economist that the NDP’s 2011 proposal would have raised gas prices by 10 cents per litre. (There was some debate on this point during the last election. Andrew Leach projected the increase at about four cents per litre. The Pembina Institute found likewise.)
For the record, Mintz’s preferred policy in this regard is a carbon tax. Via email, I asked him about his position and he explains as follows.’

‘Pope, Obama Have ‘Different Approaches’
[excerpt] President Obama appeared to downplay it, telling reporters later that day that very little time was spent on “social schisms” and that the Affordable Care Act wasn’t touched on “in detail.” He said he “briefly” discussed the issues conscience rights and religious freedom with the Pope, but in a separate meeting, with Vatican Secretary of State Cardinal Pietro Parolin.
Unhappily for the administration, the Vatican statement made no mention of concerns over income inequality or poverty, thereby departing from the script the Obama administration had been carefully orchestrating. Leading up to Thursday’s audience, through use of the media it had tried hard to align the president’s policies on combating income inequality with the concerns of Pope Francis for the poor, clearly hoping it would be a focus of the meeting and underlining a key area of convergence. Obama said it was discussed, but it wasn’t mentioned in the Vatican statement.
Naturally poverty is of “common concern, as it is to everyone,” a Vatican source told Newsmax on condition of anonymity, but he added that the Pope and Obama have “different approaches” on how to tackle it. For the Pope, what’s important “are people first and foremost, not poverty per se,” he said.

Supreme Court of Canada rules on Catholic prayer
Apr. 16 2015
Saguenay mayor says court’s prayer ruling surprised him, but he’ll comply
{excerpt] The Supreme Court ruled Wednesday that the reading of a Catholic prayer at council meetings infringes on freedom of conscience and religion.
Canadian society has evolved and given rise to a “concept of neutrality according to which the state must not interfere in religion and beliefs,” the judgment said.
“The state must instead remain neutral in this regard.”
The ruling ended an eight-year legal battle that pitted atheist Alain Simoneau and a secular-rights organization against Tremblay.
The mayor expressed surprise at the judgment, especially as the Quebec Court of Appeal had previously ruled unanimously in his favour.
“We thought the matter was over, considering the appeals court is the highest court in Quebec and especially as the Supreme Court only handles cases of national interest,” he said.
“And we thought that in our case, national interest was a bit exaggerated.
“We were shaken by the ruling. I’ll tell you it was a real surprise. Unanimous. That was a surprise.”’

Clinton Foundation hit with racketeering lawsuit
By Sarah Westwood | May 27, 2015 | 5:00 am
‘[excerpt] Klayman pointed to the litany of scandals involving missing records that have followed the Clintons for decades, including the fact that thousands of emails disappeared during Bill Clinton’s administration after White House officials threatened internal computer experts who blew the whistle on the “suppression.”
“It’s a perfect RICO case, it fits completely,” Klayman said of the lawsuit. “Our Congress doesn’t even have the guts to subpoena her documents. They’d rather get on Fox News. So we felt had to bring that case. Somebody’s got to do it.”‘
—————————————————————————-
‘[excerpt] Bill and Hillary Clinton and the Clinton Foundation have been hit with a racketeering lawsuit in Florida court.
The lawsuit, filed by Larry Klayman of Freedom Watch, includes a legal request to have the Florida judge seize the private server on which Hillary Clinton and her aides hosted their emails while she served as secretary of state.
Klayman has filed dozens of lawsuits against the Clintons and other prominent politicians.
The racketeering, influenced and corrupt organizations, or RICO, case alleges the former first couple and their family philanthropy traded political favors for donations or generous speaking fees for Bill Clinton while his wife was the nation’s chief diplomat.
“Negotiations by email about influencing U.S. foreign policy or U.S. Government actions to benefit donors to … The Clinton Foundation or sponsors of speaking engagements would not be captured on a U.S. Government email account because her emails would not be with a U.S. Government official,” Klayman said in court documents obtained by the Washington Examiner.’

One more thing!
Hey Ontario!
Where do you get your freedom from?
The answer is: God
p.s. and keep your eye – on it!
‘[excerpt] The judgment had an immediate impact in some cities and towns across the country, with Ottawa Mayor Jim Watson suspending prayers at a city council meeting and the mayor of Levis, Que., saying he’ll do the same next week.
The Speaker of the New Brunswick legislature said Thursday it’s too soon to say if the Supreme Court decision will have an impact on the daily prayer in the legislative assembly.
Legislature staff are studying the ruling and will forward their findings to a committee of the legislature for a decision, said Chris Collins, who added there will be a prayer when the legislature sits again Tuesday.
In Oshawa, Ont., Mayor John Henry said the judgment will not change anything in his city.
“During the preamble prior to the [council] meeting I ask members of the audience if they’d like to join us in a moment of personal reflection or the Lord’s Prayer and then we follow up with O Canada and then we call the meeting to order,” he said Thursday.
“You can choose to say it, not say it, you can participate or not participate…I start it prior to the meeting so it’s not part of formal council process.”
“It started long before I became mayor and the practice will still continue. But Canada is one of these countries where you have a number of options, you have freedom of religion or freedom not to practise religion. People from around the world dream of coming to this country to do both.”

If you’re rattled –
the answer still remains the same.
You get your freedom – from God.
Yikes! – the Americas are coming!
I suppose the next step is:
– what to do with
‘God keep our Land – Glorious and Free’
Did I forget the question mark –
Nope!
It’s just a thought!
Simple, just write another national anthem.
In the U.S. the phrase “one nation under God” had to be removed from the U.S. Pledge of Allegiance.
Just. Like the Lord’s Prayer from schools!
Keep it simple … Keep your messages of cause and fight in our communities . We can link to any sight on the Internet , quote whatever media news… If we all just started listening to nature ,which is God’s way .. Then maybe we could all get alonf.
One more thing… Beside sitting at our Internet access and making all the statements we do ..links to whatever proganda and news that don’t really make a difference to what is actually going on…. Like why were those of us that did not show up at Queen’s Park for the hydro protest?????
. Are any of you actually out there and contributing to the people that are being affected and supporting the cause to fight.
No judgement here on my part to inflict but I think we really need to get out on the streets of Bay Street.
Willing to take the day of work to join a cause that should grow .
God Bless
If you take days off from work how can you pay your Hydro bill?
One key issues is to get all the provinces to use the same cap-and-trade system or businesses will move to locations that have the lowest carbon taxes.
So all of Canada will have to join the system to make this work.
Canadian banks have huge investments in oil & gas and if these products can’t be delivered to customers there will huge financial losses incurred.
One way out is to agree to cap-and-trade.
It’s unfortunate that rural Ontarians are caught up in this affair with the imposition of this carbon tax system.
